Use these steps to choose replacement outdoor cushions that fit your patio furniture and feel comfortable.

Measure your existing cushion or furniture

• Width: measure side to side at the widest point.
• Depth: measure from the front edge to the back.
• Thickness: measure the cushion from top to bottom at its thickest point.
• Back cushion: for lounge or deep-seat styles, record the back width, height, and thickness separately.

Check the details

Note ties and attachment points, curved edges, bolsters, headrests, and seam details. If you are measuring the furniture instead of an existing cushion, measure the seating area itself and compare the shape with the replacement style.

Before ordering

Write down each measurement, double-check it, and compare the dimensions with the cushion specifications. Allow for wear and compression when measuring an older cushion.
